Why it doesn’t pay to keep a car that just sits there
Many owners leave a car without inspection parked in the yard: passing inspection means repairs, and insurance feels like a waste of money. The catch is that the obligations of a registered car stay with its owner. A registered vehicle may be without motor insurance for up to 12 months after the policy ends. After that, compulsory insurance from the Estonian Traffic Insurance Fund kicks in, and it costs much more than a regular policy.
When you sell the car to us, these worries end at the moment of the ownership change: the car is registered to us, and so are its future obligations. You don’t need to pass inspection, because the ownership change is possible without it. You don’t need to deliver the car either, we arrange the pickup ourselves.
